| David Lawrence (Head Coach / Program
Director) |
 |
David Lawrence started skiing when he was six years old. Since then
he's been chasing winter from Virginia (where he grew up) all the way to the Methow Valley where he
learned to cross country ski. David is a current member of the PSIA National Nordic Team
and part time instructor for the Methow Valley Ski School.

| Laura McCabe (Assistant Coach) |
 2 time Olympian '94 and '98. On the Fisher/Solomon Factory team for
11 years winning numerous marathons throughout the country including the American
Birkebiner. Have coached with the Methow Valley Nordic Team for 15 years and was head coach
for 6 years before children. |

| Leslie Hall (J3 Coach / Program
Director) |
 Current J3 coach, Three time Olympian ('88, '92 & '94), 5 time
World Championship Team member ('87,'89,'91,93 & '95) and World Cup racer, 11 time US National
Champion , 2 time World Junior Team member ('81, '82). Post racing: worked for Nordic
Equipment Co, coaches ski camps, clinic instructor and has coached the junior program since
1997! |

| Eric Brooks (J3 Coach) |
 Grew up in Anchorage, AK. high school in Minnesota, skied three years
as an NCAA III athlete at Carleton College, current competitive trail runner, US Track & Field
Level 1 coaching certification, XC Running/Distance Track coach at Carleton from 2000-2004,
assistant high school ski team for two of those years, Methow Ski Team for 4 seasons |

Ski Team Captain '05-06, All-East Ski Team, NCAA Qualifer x2, B.A. in British History, Ranked 11th
on national SuperTour sprint circuit, 2008-09 season, 1st, Telemark SuperTour Sprint qualifier,
Methow Olympic Development Project athlete, Post-baccalaureate student in Pre-Medical studies,
preparing for Doctor of Physical Therapy School. |

The mission of the Methow Valley Nordic Team is
to engage our youth in Nordic skiing and racing, challenge and support them to attain personal
goals, and teach them skills for life-long enjoyment of physical activity. In doing so we strive to
be a model youth program for ski fitness embodying the spirit of our Core Values: Respect,
Sportsmanship, Commitment, Accomplishment of Goals, Self-Reliance, Mutual Support
